Transaction Backer

Assists a real estate agent by performing the administrative duties required during each stage of a transaction from contract to closing.

  • Prepare offer documents
  • Oversee all aspects of buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement to closing
  • Maintain or create a Transaction checklist or system for smooth transaction management
  • Coordinate inspections, title/escrow, mortgage loan, and appraisal processes
  • Regularly update and maintain communication with clients, agents, title officers, lenders, etc.
  • Send weekly transaction updates to sellers/buyers
  • Submit all necessary documentation to the office broker for file compliance (Smoke Certification included for MA transactions)
  • Complete commission statement or green sheet for DA creation
  • Gather utility and maintenance information from the seller for the buyer side
  • Order Final Readings or Title V
  • Coordinate Smoke Inspection and get Smoke Certificate <
  • Coordinate/schedule moving, final walkthroughs, and closings
  • Create/Apply a post-closing plan for the buyer/seller after the transaction closed
  • Enter all client information into the CRM/database
